Spacious Western rooms with a private outdoor hot-spring bath, peaceful nature views and a 42-inch LCD TV await at Gora Hanaougi, directly accessible via an elevator next to Sounzan Train Station. The entire hotel is non-smoking. Each air-conditioned room at Gora Hanaougi Hotel has wood floors and decking, soft lighting and a Japanese-style seating area with tatami (woven-straw) flooring. A sofa and an en suite bathroom with amenities are included. Owakudani Volcanic Valley and the Sengokuhara area are both 6 km away, and Hakone-jinja Shrine is 11 km away. Parking at the hotel is free, but a reservation is needed. Larger public hot-spring baths are also on offer, both indoors and outdoors. Breakfast and dinner are served at the dining room and utilise fresh local, seasonal ingredients. Dinner is a traditional multi-course Kaiseki meal, and breakfast is a set Japanese menu.

Guests who check in after this time may not be served dinner, and no refund will be given. Check-out is possible till 11:00, and no late check-out requests can be accommodated. Guests who are bringing children must contact the property in advance. They might not be accommodated without prior notification. Guests with a tattoo may not be permitted to enter public bathing areas and other public facilities. To use the property's free shuttle from Gora Station, please make a reservation at time of booking. Pick-up shuttles are available between 13:30 and 17:30. Drop-off service from the property to Gora Station is available between 09:00 and 11:00.
