Quick description

The first Sri Lankan property to be included in Condé Nast Traveller’s annual Hot List, the River House features villa-style accommodation. It is only 1.5 km from Balapitiya Beach. Offering views of the garden or the Madhu River, rooms at River House are inspired by South Asian architecture. Each room has a flat-screen TV, DVD player and safety deposit box. Guests can enjoy an in-room massage, or go for a relaxing swim in the outdoor pool that’s surrounded by greenery. Canoes are available for a quiet cruise down the river.
