Quick description

This family-run, hillside hotel is 6 km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur and a 1-hour drive from Skaftafell National Park. It offers traditional Icelandic food, a furnished terrace and countryside views. Public WiFi and parking are free. Private bathrooms, tea/coffee facilities and a flat-screen TV are standard in Hotel Laki's rooms. Some provide a sofa and lake views. Lamb and trout are just some of the local dishes served in the à la carte restaurant. A bar with a flat-screen TV can be found on site. Quad bike rentals, jeep tours and trips to Mýrdalsjökull Glacier can be arranged at Laki Hotel. Fishing in Lake Vikuflod and golfing at the neighbouring, 9-hole Laki Golf Club are also popular.
