This hotel stands on the car-free island of Langeoog, just 400 metres from a long, sandy beach. It offers free Wi-Fi, rental bicycles, and large breakfast buffets. Newly renovated in March 2013, Strandhotel Achtert Diek provides rooms, suites and self-catering apartments. All feature satellite TV and modern bathrooms with toiletries and a hairdryer. The Achtert Diek's brightly decorated restaurant Tuffelhus offers themed dinners based on different types of fish. Guests can also relax outside on the sun terrace or in the bar. Langeoog is a car-free Island. Please note that the schedule for Langeoog’s Island ferry is continually changing, as ferry-crossing times are dependent on the tides. The travel time from Bensersiel Ferry Port to Langeoog Island is approximately 60 minutes. For a fee, guests can leave their cars at Bensersiel Ferry Port, which has a large car park. Please also note that daily cleaning is not included in the room rate for the apartment. A final cleaning for the apartment is included.
