Quick description

This family-run guest house is located directly below Birkenstein Pilgrimage Church, 1 km from Fischbachau. It offers Alpine-style rooms, free Wi-Fi internet and great views of Upper Bavarian countryside. All rooms at Gästehaus Sonnenbichl are decorated in a Bavarian country-house style with traditional wooden furniture. All rooms feature satellite TV and a private bathroom, and some have a terrace or balcony. A buffet breakfast is served each morning in the cosy lounge or the sunny terrace of the Sonnenbichl Birkenstein. The Sonnenbichl is a 15-minute drive from the Spitzingsee and the Sudelfeld ski resorts, and from Schliersee Lake. Guests at the Sonnenbichl can relax on the sun terrace with barbecue area, or explore the Birkenstein Mountain on foot or by mountain bike. There is a sauna and heated outdoor pool in Fischbachau village, a 10-minute walk away.
