As the climatic spa has a high-elevation character, it has got an ideal southern position in the softwoods; and from the north, the spa is surrounded by the spectacular mountain peaks of the High Tatras. The position of the spa, which is directly in the tourist centre of the city Novy Smokovec, creates the perfect conditions for hiking and for sport activities. The spa guests can make use of the ski slopes, of the sprint courses, of the hiking paths. Procedures provided: Individual inhalation cure, curative physical training (breathing exercise, relaxation exercises, individual curative physical training), massages (classical massage, reflex, subaqaual), hydrotherapy (bubble bath, Scottish spritzers, whirl baths for upper and lower limbs, pool, sauna), electrotherapy and warmth-therapy (dynamic flows, diathermy, solux, ultrasound, magnetotherapy, hydrogalvan, biotron, peat veneerings, oxygenotherapy, gas injections.
