The natural spa Poděbrady is one of the most important spas for intensive treatment of postoperative heart conditions in the Czech Republic. It is specialised for treatment of heart diseases, vascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, or disorders of the locomotive apparatus.The town of Poděbrady is located in the lowland at the banks of the river Labe only 50 km far from the capital city of Prague.
